Campout at Fort Snelling was a Success!

Wildlife Was All Around

On June 10 Base Camp hosted it's second annual Family Campout. This time we went to Fort Snelling!

We Had a Special Guest!

A regular visitor to Base Camp joined us on our hike over to Fort Snelling State Park. This little guy comes around often, and we have yet to name him. If you have any ideas, post them to our facebook page @explorebasecamp

It Was Hot, and Beautiful

We had a blast, cooked S'mores, stargazed, told campfire stories, and listened to the wildlife all around us. A friendly raccoon came to our campsite to say hello and look for hot dogs. And coyotes were actively singing in the night.

We got out just in time!

The storm on sunday morning was a beast! Check out this picture taken from Base Camp. Luckily we didn't get hit on Saturday night.

Come do fun things with us!

go to www.explorebasecamp.org/events to participate in all of our fun happenings like: Pre-k Days, Open Climb, Open Lock-ins, Discovery Day Camp, Birthday Parties, Field trips, and more!
