Very Sad News

We are saddened to share that 7-year-old Cub Scout Simon Caquelin, who was critically injured in a sledding accident on January 27, passed away on February 5. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the Caquelin family and friends. Our entire Scouting community grieves this tragic loss, and we will support the family and all involved in every way that we can. Counseling has been and will be provided to fellow Scouts and volunteers.

Simon’s Memorial Service was held on Thursday, February 8 at St. Stephanus Lutheran Church. An overflow crowd of family, friends, church, school and Scouting community members gathered to grieve, honor, support and remember.
