Help Plan Future Jamborees By Participating in the Orion Project or Telescopium
SEEK OUT ADVENTURE AT THE SUMMIT
This summer the national organization will be offering two opportunities to help define the future look of programming at National Scout Jamborees. The first event, Project Orion, is a seven-day overnight program that will give Scouts free reign of the Summit. The program will be open to all Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring members, and will be able to accommodate provisional Scouts and groups. Participants will provide instrumental feedback on how future National Scout Jamborees will be conducted. The program will run in two sessions: July 18-24, 2021 and July 25-31, 2021 (sessions are $910 per participant, with registration closing on May 31, 2021). More information and registration can be found at https://www.summitbsa.org/orionproject/.
The second event is Telescopium, which is a three-day, four-night conference experience geared toward adults and Scouts that have served on previous Jamboree Staffs or have an interest in serving on future Jamboree Service Teams. Attendees will focus on providing the ideas and feedback that will make the next National Scout Jamboree the best event possible. The event will be held July 13-17, 2021 and has a base cost of $726 per participant. More information and registration can be found here: https://www.summitbsa.org/telescopium/.
